John 4 - The Samaritan Woman (Craig Johnson)

Jesus gently engages the vulnerable areas of our life to bring healing and hope. On a purposeful trip through Samaria, Jesus meets a woman who has a long history of being abused and rejected by others. A woman who wanted to hide from others is transformed by the loving care of Jesus to become a witness to the whole village of the hope she found in Jesus! He knew everything she ever did and still accepted and loved her. 

John 3 - Born Again!

A teacher of the Jews named Nicodemus is told by Jesus that he must be 'born again'! What does it mean to be born again? How does it happen? How do you know if you have been born again? Jesus talks with him and helps him see that new life in the Spirit is the only way to see the kingdom of God at work in our lives and the world.

John 2 - Follow the Signs

John shares the message of two stories as signs that point to the blood and body of Jesus in His death and resurrection as the only way to be cleansed and forgiven. The water that can purify the outside is changed to wine that can purify the heart. The cleansing of the temple will be done by Jesus' own body in his death and resurrection!

John 1 - We Found Him!

Come and see! It's the joyous delight of Jesus to find us! John begins by telling three stories of people that Jesus finds and in turn they find Him! The natural response is to go and tell others, we found him!

Beginning of John- Knowing Jesus Personally

John begins his account of the life of Jesus by giving us three pictures of Jesus as the good news! Each picture is rich with meaning to help guide us to live lives to the full by knowing Jesus personally!

Beginning of Luke - Knowing Jesus as Savior

Luke begins his gospel account with an introduction to tell us the purpose of his writing. As a doctor, historian, and missionary, Luke wants to give us the gift of certainty in knowing the person and work of Jesus as our savior.

Beginning of Mark- Knowing Jesus as King

Mark begins his gospel account with quotes from the prophets of the Hebrew Bible. Mark announces the good news of Jesus as the coming King by telling two stories, the story of the prophets and the story of King Jesus!
